We’re here to encourage, challenge and support each other in our work and our faith. Online and face-to-face.
In an era of fake news, distrust and cynicism, it’s never been more important for us to pray for the media industry, those who work in and alongside it.
On Sunday 28 May 2017, we are urging Christians all over the UK to participate in our annual Day of Prayer for the Media.
This year, we’ve produced a short animated film to share to encourage more conversation in churches about the industry and the support it needs. We wanted this film to speak on behalf of all those who work in media – from journalists and producers to press officers and sound engineers – to capture their struggles but also the positives about the industry and their role in it.
The MediaNet is a network that supports, encourages and inspires Christians who work in, and with, the UK media.
Producers, journalists, photographers, editors, content creators, social media managers, press officers, war correspondents.
Through local get togethers and a flourishing online network, we’re seeking to help Christians better understand how their faith and work interact, and to encourage and inspire each other to be disciples whilst meeting the demands of our industry.
